Citizen Gun Safety Course

The Delphi Police Department is pleased to announce the Citizen Gun Safety Course held on May 3rd 2025 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.  This course is free of charge to the citizens of Carroll County. There are only 10 spots available per time slot- first come, first serve.  Each application is subject to approval. This course was generously paid for in the form of grants obtained from NIPSCO and the Carroll County Health Department.
Course topics will include:

  • Safety
  • Gun Handling
  • Firearm Anatomy
  • Loading & Unloading
  • Sight Picture & Sight Alignment
  • Recoil Management
