CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor RAM Construction will begin bridge work on two locations of State Road 25 over Bridge Creek on or after Monday, May 2.
State Road 25 will be reduced to one lane in each direction with alternating lane closures between C.R. 800 W and Main St for bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance projects. Work will be ongoing through mid-September.
The ramp from southbound U.S. 421 to southbound/westbound State Road 25 will be closed for approximately four weeks starting on or after May 2. The detour for the ramp closure is to continue south on State Road 25 and then follow Division Line Rd and C.R. 800 W to State Road 25.
INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully. Motorists should slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
