CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Rieth Riley Construction will begin a resurfacing project on State Road 218 between Sanderson St and C.R. W 425 N on or after Monday, July 24.
State Road 218 will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic in the area where work is occurring. Shoulders and sidewalks will also be closed during structure and sidewalk replacements. This project will be ongoing through late October.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns in the area. INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully. Motorists should slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
