Lt. Gov. Crouch hosts Sen. Donato for fireside chat

SOURCE: News release from Office of Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch

STATEHOUSE – Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch recently hosted a fireside chat with State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport). Click here to watch the video.

“Senator Donato is a champion for getting constituents to get involved in local government and it was inspiring to hear more about why she wants Hoosiers to know more about the decisions at city hall and the Statehouse, and how they impact our lives,” Crouch said. “It’s a message she spread through her own family and I encourage her to keep spreading that message as she continues her career as a senator.”

The discussion between Crouch and Donato was part of the lieutenant governor’s 2021 Fireside Chat Series. Crouch said she wanted to use this platform as an opportunity for Hoosiers to learn more about their lawmakers, the paths that took them to serve on the legislature and to find out more about the interests of Indiana senators and representatives.

Donato has served in the Indiana Senate since 2019.

“It was great to sit fireside with Lt. Gov. Crouch and I am honored to have been able to share my story,” Donato said. “I encourage residents across Senate District 18 to engage with the legislative process, as it strengthens my ability to best represent you and your values at the Statehouse.”

Donato represents Senate District 18, which consists of all of Cass, Fulton and Miami counties, and portions of Carroll, Kosciusko and Marshall counties.
